We're looking for a Client Consultant to work closely with our leadership team, engineers, and prospective clients. This is a part-time, fully remote, client-facing position.
The role does not require software development or advanced technical expertise. Instead, we're looking for someone who understands digital products and business requirements from a user and functional perspective — websites, mobile apps, e-commerce platforms, SaaS products, online learning systems, healthcare platforms, and similar services.
You'll represent Nexorlio during client interviews, discovery calls, onboarding meetings, and ongoing project discussions: understanding client needs, asking the right questions, communicating requirements clearly, and keeping clients and our internal team in sync.
Key responsibilities
- Represent Nexorlio professionally during client interviews, discovery calls, onboarding sessions, and project meetings
- Collaborate closely with our leadership team and engineers before and during client engagements
- Understand client business needs, project ideas, expectations, timelines, and objectives
- Ask clear and relevant questions to better understand client requirements
- Communicate project requirements, workflows, features, and expectations between clients and our internal team
- Present Nexorlio's services, capabilities, and available resources in a professional and understandable manner
- Support the process of converting successful interviews and client discussions into active projects
- Coordinate project onboarding and help establish smooth communication between clients and assigned teams
- Participate in ongoing client and internal meetings during project delivery
- Identify communication issues, misunderstandings, or changing requirements and raise them with the right team members
- Support assigned projects from initial client discussions through onboarding, execution, and completion
Requirements
- C1–C2 level English proficiency, with excellent spoken and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal, presentation, and professional communication skills
- Confidence participating in video calls, interviews, discovery meetings, and business discussions with international clients
- Ability to understand client requirements and explain ideas clearly and professionally
- Familiarity with common digital products and online platforms
- Ability to quickly understand how a client's product or service works and discuss its features, workflows, and requirements
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently in a fully remote environment
- Availability to participate in meetings during U.S. and European business hours when required
- Reliable high-speed internet connection
- Reliable laptop or computer suitable for professional video meetings and remote work
Preferred qualifications
The following are preferred but not mandatory.
- Education or equivalent professional experience in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, Consulting, or a related field
- Previous experience in consulting, client relations, account management, project coordination, business development, customer success, or another client-facing role
- Experience communicating with international clients, particularly in the United States or Europe
- Familiarity with digital businesses, software products, e-commerce, SaaS platforms, mobile applications, or online services
- Previous experience working remotely
- Experience participating in client interviews, discovery calls, onboarding sessions, or project meetings
Compensation & growth
- $10–$20 USD per hour, depending on experience, communication ability, availability, and performance
- Project-based compensation while actively working on assigned client projects
- Compensation may increase based on performance, responsibilities, and the number of projects successfully acquired, supported, and managed
- Opportunity to take on additional client relationships and responsibilities as Nexorlio continues to grow
Who we're looking for
Someone confident, articulate, responsible, and comfortable communicating with international clients.
You don't need to be a software engineer or developer. You should be comfortable understanding how digital products work and discussing them from a business and user perspective.
The ideal candidate can quickly understand what a client is trying to build, ask meaningful questions, communicate the concept clearly, and act as a reliable bridge between the client and our team.
